Meet Our Owner

After completing high school at Columbia Academy in Columbia, TN, I moved to Cookeville to start work on my undergraduate degree in multiple disciplinary studies. During the summers, I would come back to Columbia to be with my family and worked sealing mainly driveways to earn extra money for school.

After finishing my Bachelor's Degree, I continued on to Memphis, where I completed my nursing degree in hopes of eventually attending Nurse Anesthesia school as soon as possible. I moved home and worked three 12-hour shifts a week as a critical care nurse and sealed driveways/parking lots on the side.

I finally married my wife, Elizabeth, after dating for seven years. I was soon after accepted to Nurse Anesthesia school and she traveled with me to Arkansas for 2-and-a-half years to complete my Master's Degree. Elizabeth and I were blessed with our first son in my last year of college and could not wait to move back to the Columbia/Spring Hill area.

Once we finally returned, I worked full time on sealcoating and striping due to having a new family to support and the long process of receiving certification and testing for Maury Regional Hospital, where I currently work. I met my foreman Terry and hired him to work with me full-time. He is a very trustworthy and dedicated employee that we are very fortunate to have. He is just as dedicated and proud of this business that we have built as my wife and I are.

In 2013, my wife and I welcomed another baby boy into the world and could not be happier. My wife stays home with our beautiful children and runs Hargrove Sealcoating and Striping's office. She answers the phone when we are out on a job as well as handles all the bookkeeping for the business. We are very diligent about getting you an estimate and completing the job as soon as possible.
